Beat Saber (2018), game rhythm block-slicing VR, telah diberikan penghargaan tertinggi sekali lagi, kali ini oleh 2018 Game of the Year Awards milik PlayStation.
Dibuat oleh studio indie Beat Games yang berbasis di Republik Ceko, Beat Saber meraih penghargaan tertinggi untuk ‘Pengalaman PSVR Terbaik’ Sony tahun 2018.
Beat Saber juga hampir meraih posisi teratas untuk ‘Game Independen Terbaik’ juga, mendarat di tempat kedua setelah The Forest.

- Second – ASTRO BOT Rescue Mission
- Third – Tetris Effect
- Honorable mentions – Star Trek Bridge Crew: The Next Generation, and Creed: Rise to Glory
Penghargaan GOTY tahunan Sony ditentukan oleh suara yang diberikan oleh pembaca blog PlayStation.
